Cookie Policy

Overview

This page describes how autonode.build uses cookies and similar storage. For how we process personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Notice.

Essential first-party cookies

These cookies are required for the site to function. They are set regardless of your analytics consent choice.

First-party analytics events are sent to our own API (/api/track) and stored in our database. We do not load PostHog or similar third-party product analytics on the public site.

Consent cookie

When you first visit, we show a banner asking whether optional analytics may set cookies. Your choice is stored in an_consent (granted or denied, about 12 months) and applied before Google Tag Manager loads.

If you choose Essential only, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity do not set cookies. The Google tag may still send a cookieless measurement through our domain.

Optional analytics

If you accept, Google Tag Manager loads from autonode.build at /metrics (Google tag gateway on Cloudflare). Measurement is sent to our domain first, then forwarded to Google. Advertising storage stays off. We configure this only in production on autonode.build.

Google Analytics (GA4)

GA4 may receive page views, engagement events, and conversion events (for example CTA clicks, calculator completion, and lead submissions) under Google's privacy policy. After you accept, GA4 may set _ga and _ga_* on autonode.build for up to two years.

Microsoft Clarity

Clarity may record session replays, heatmaps, and interaction signals to help us improve the site. Sensitive form fields on booking and intake pages are masked where possible. Clarity is operated by Microsoft under Microsoft's privacy policy. After you accept, Clarity may set _clck and _clsk. Withdrawing consent deletes these cookies and the Google Analytics cookies above.

How to control cookies

Use the buttons above to change your analytics preference on this device. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent forms, scheduling, and attribution from working correctly.
